Pint of Science 2025

On May 21st, we had the chance to take part in the Pint of Science festival at Café La Manuela. A special gathering where science and beer came together to talk about something truly important: how technology can be a real tool for inclusion.

From the Grupo de Tratamiento de Imágenes, we shared the stage with colleagues from Nokia and Fundación Juan XXIII to showcase how we’re developing XR technologies aimed at improving the lives of people with intellectual disabilities.

But the best part was being able to shine a light on the incredible work happening behind the scenes. Because this is not just about algorithms and sensors — it’s about the people who make it possible, who pour their hearts into every line of code, every test, every step toward a fairer, more accessible, and more human society.
